filmfood IGNITE! Mentorship
Join mim collective for a multi-week experimental exploration of filmmaking through the lens of food. Participants will create short experimental videos and have the opportunity to screen work at the 2022 IGNITE! Youth-Driven Arts Festival.
When: Sessions will run on Saturdays from 12:30 to 2:30pm from February 19th to March 26th.
Test screenings (to be confirmed): April 9th and 16th at the Cultch (1895 Venables St, Vancouver BC).
Eligibility: For youth aged 18-30. Are you a young person that falls outside that age range? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch by emailing hello@mim-mim.net
No filmmaking experience required! Just a curiosity about film and food and a willingness to explore that intersection.

About mim collective:
mim is a multi-disciplinary artist collective working on the unceded, unsurrendered shared territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. Our projects explore ways of collectivizing creative practices. Current members are Daniela Rodríguez Chevalier and Michelle Martin.
